Our Collection

The Museum houses a large and growing collection, continually enhanced by donations from local residents and organizations. Artifacts, textiles, ephemera and more than 2,000 archived photographs related to our area have been preserved.

Hours of Operation

The Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00 to 4:30 pm.  Check the calendar for holiday and any other special closings.

Admission

There is no admission fee but a donation of $5 per person is suggested.  Members admitted free.

 

The Research Library

The research library contains a wealth of local information, including historic home surveys, biographical materials, maps and community-related reference data. These resources are available to the public by appointment.

The Northport Historical Society can undertake research on behalf of members and non-members. Our research policy can be viewed here.
