Support for the Northport Historical Society

Membership

Membership in the Northport Historical Society is open to everyone. Our members share a sense of stewardship for the legacy passed down to us by earlier generations. Joining the Society is a way to meet others who share your interest in supporting the community and enjoying all that our area has to offer. Members interact with other members of the residential and business communities we serve, at all our events and in the voluntary work we do to support our mission.

Northport Historical Society has many opportunities for volunteers, whether you are available one day a week or only once or twice a year. Areas of interest or expertise needed varies widely and includes Museum gallery docents, fundraising events, data entry, exhibit preparation, and collection documentation. Volunteers are also essential who can serve on an as-needed basis. Students seeking internship experience are invited to contact us regarding available opportunities. For more information about volunteering at the Society, call 631-757-9859.

Would you like to become more involved but don't have a lot of time to give?
