Join us to unwind at the Museum while painting a historic fall scene of Northport harbor with Curator Elizabeth Abrahams Riordan. Adult beverages will be served.   

Cost includes canvas, paint supplies and beverages!

Join us for our October book club featuring bestselling author Brian Kilmeade’s newly released book, Teddy and Booker T: How Two American Icons Blazed a Path for Racial Equality. The book examines a pivotal time in American history, when these two iconic figures, President Theodore Roosevelt and Booker T. Washington, worked together to combat injustice and advance civil rights for Black Americans.  

The book is now available at the Northport-East Northport Public Library. Thank you to the librarians at the Northport-East Northport Public Library for their efforts in coordinating the books.

Northport Historical Society Executive Director Terry Reid takes you on a guided tour of Northport Rural Cemetery to learn about gravestone symbology, and the history behind some of Northport’s most notable citizens who are buried there.

Tour meets at the Northport Rural Cemetery (23 Sandy Hollow Road) and is approximately 1.5 hours

 Due to the terrain, this is not a handicap accessible event.
