As part of its mission, the Northport Historical Society preserves and promotes the history of Northport’s surrounding hamlets of Asharoken, Crab Meadow, East Northport, Eaton’s Neck, and Fort Salonga. We are seeking photo entries of historic or contemporary places in these hamlets as they are today for our juried photography exhibit “History in the Making”. Winning photos will be selected by a panel and will be exhibited in our gallery from July through August 2017. The photos will then become part of the Society's collection, and will be preserved as part of Northport's history!

Free entry. Up to two photo entries per person. Submissions from all ages encouraged. Submit entries online by emailing digital files to [email protected] and include your name, phone number, and email address. Image resolution must be a minimum of 355 dpi.

NOTE: Photos should not contain identifiable people. Submissions may be used by the Northport Historical Society in future print and digital publications, with proper credit to the photographer.
