For each visitor to our website our server automatically recognizes the visitor's domain name but not the e-mail address (where possible). We collect domain names in order to assess aggregate information regarding pages visited. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our website and is not shared with other organizations.

The Society website will only collect personal information you knowingly and voluntarily provide when, for example, you order products or tickets, make reservations, become a member, donate or sign up to receive information. If you supply us with your postal or e-mail address online, you may receive periodic communications from us with information on upcoming events or new products and services.
Children’s online privacy
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children.
Third party distribution
We do not distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information.

If you do not wish to receive information from us, please let us know via e-mail at [email protected]. Please label the e-mail with the subject UNSUBSCRIBE. Provide us with your exact name and address so that we can remove your name from our list.

PAYMENT POLICY
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Your order will be processed when we receive payment. New York State residents must pay a 8.625% sales tax. Sales tax does not apply to residents of other states or non-taxable items.
RETURN/REFUND POLICY
Museum Shop Purchases:
All sales are final. Exchanges may be made on clothing for different size.
Event Ticket Purchases:
Event and program tickets are non-refundable unless the event or program is changed or cancelled by The Society, whereas a refund can be requested.
