Meet the animals that call Long Island their home and their role in the LI ecosystem.
July 19: Back to the Past Scavenger Hunt
Explore Northport history with a museum scavenger hunt using items from the Historical Society's Education Collection.
July 26: Coast Guard Field Trip
Take a guided tour of the Eaton's Neck Coast Guard Station and learn the history of one of America's oldest lighthouses.
August 2: Poetry in the Threads Writing Workshop
Learn to write short poetry inspired by historical clothing and other items in the Society collection.
August 9: Vintage Field Day
Old games, new fun! Two-legged races, bocce ball, and much more will be played at Northport Village Green.
August 16: Classic Tea Party
Enjoy fresh brewed tea and finger sandwiches, while learning a little about Northport's famous lady's tea parlor.
